I'm rusted and the seat is sunken in. What a long line to creep, but we creep on.
I tune in the radio and the gas is running low.

I was cruising like a bird when I hit that Conshy Curve.
Now I'm sweating like a sin and my brakes are caving in.
I'm hauling a heavy load and my smokes have all been smoked.
And I missed the shunpike several miles ago.

My creed was left at home with my bags. Everyone I know has let me down.
So I lit out yesterday cause I couldn't earn the pay.
Thirty more miles to go and one more day.
